Bonjour ma Chéries!
MassieBlockLove here! Today’s post is going to completely dedicated to Fall Fashion! I’m sure you’ve all been keeping up with NY Fashion Week and studying up to make sure you have the cutest wardrobe for Fall and back to school :)
Here are some of Dial A’s favorite Fall trends!
On the runway they’re outrageous but in the hallways, I would suggest toning it down a bit. Stick with shirts that have a natural collar like button ups and blouses. Sheer is really in right now too so combining the two would be even better. Stick with simple colors and styles but if you want to amp it up, pick out a shirt with a studded, multicolored, or jeweled collar.
Fun sweaters may be the easiest runway trend to pull off! The trick is choosing the right style. You want your sweater to be fun and quirky but not a flashback from your grandma’s closet. When choosing styles, stick with tight or really slouchy sweaters. I would always suggest paring a sweater with skinny jeans and flats or boots. When it comes to the fabric, we can’t get enough of cable knit.
The Color Red
Red always seems to be a Fall favorite so mix it up this year! Instead of buying cute red sweaters, dresses, and skirts, stick with red accessories to brighten up a dull outfit. I would suggest investing in a cute pair of red flats, a red scarf, and red earrings or rings. Adding these glam up a simple outfit is way more hallway friendly than dressing head to toe in the color.
EVERYONE needs a cute blazer. Whether it be black or a bright color, it’s a must for every wardrobe. School dress codes can be quite restrictive leaving your favorite tank tops stuck in the closet but adding a blazer over the top is the perfect way to make it school appropriate. While the weather is still warm right now, you can always wear a blazer with shorts for a more flirty look.
Sequins have been “in” for what seems like an eternity, and for a good reason! Nothing brightens an outfit better than a little sparkle! Now we all can’t go strutting down the hallway in a sequin dress, so stick to sequin tops! Pairing them with dark wash skinny jeans and flats is the perfect combination. There are a million styles and as long as you don’t go over the top, this look is always school appropriate :)
